Green / Natural Burial Styles
A green or natural burial is environmentally friendly and involves returning the body to the earth for natural decomposition. The requirements usually include a biodegradable shroud, a natural fibre urn or casket and no embalming or grave liner. In this way, human remains continue to be part of the natural life cycle of the planet.
