Tribute

Tony was born in Macau and moved to Ottawa, Ont. in 1955 to attend the University of Ottawa, and joined Air Canada in 1960.

In 1959 he and Sandra were married and they had three children: Laura, Lisa (deceased) and Michael; four grandchildren: Tara Lynn, Stuart, Ryker and Lana (deceased); and four great grandchildren: Harlow, Vaughn, Brooke and Nash.

And now the end is near

And so I face the final curtain

My friend I’ll say it clear

I’ll state my case in which I’m certain

I’ve lived a life that’s full

I travelled each and every Byway

Regrets. I have a few

But then again too few to mention

And saw it through without exception

Many thanks to so many wonderful people who cared for Tony over the years both at Lady Minto Hospital and Braehaven Assisted Living. Dr. Stephen Voyer and Sandy his kind and capable assistant; Long Term Care and Home Care staff including social workers, occupational therapists, nurse managers, care aides, pharmasists and so many more who worked so diligently on his behalf. He lived longer than he might have because of this care.
